    Chad Hallett battled back near even, and Darcy Hafso agreed to a chop with him. Hallett was on the bring of elimination earlier in the final table. With just 30,000 he quadrupled up making a full house with ace-ten. Darcy Hafso eliminated the majority of the final table, collecting more and more chips.

    This continued until play was heads-up. Hallett found a lucky river to make a straight flush, and even out the stacks. From there he didn’t look back to bring things to nearly dead even stacks. Both players will receive $5,998.50 for their efforts.

    The second event of the day is underway, and a whopping 54 players have already joined the field. Among them is Josh Myers who found a trophy last month. Plenty of action is yet to occur as the event plays down to a winner. While updates will be less frequent as the HORSE plays down a winner, stay tuned for updates on the event.

    The side game on Monday night is the perfect outing for players with smaller bankrolls. The $230 NLH is one of the least expensive buy-ins on the schedule, making it perfect for the low-stakes grinders.

    The action kicks off at 6 PM with 25k stacks and 20-minute blinds. There are 9 levels of open entry, putting the last buy-in chance at ~9:30 PM.

    Alek Gillies will be handling the reporting duties on Monday while I get a chance to play some poker in the HORSE event (and maybe this one if I get bucked off the HORSE early), but this game will be his second priority until the HORSE race finishes.
