  • Jim Berry & Ryan Truong Make ICM Deal Heads Up

    Level:26 (30000/60000/60000)
    Entries:1/126
    Prizes:$24,539
Ryan Truong (L) & Jim Berry (R) chopped Event #2 heads up in an ICM deal

With the blinds getting huge and the hour getting late, Jim Berry and Ryan Truong decided to make an ICM deal and go home shortly after Alicia Dodds busted in 3rd place. Berry was the leader at the time, but there wasn’t much in it, and in the end, the adjusted prizes were barely $100 different.

Jim Berry takes the official win as he had more chips when the deal was struck. This was Berry’s first live win, and only his 3rd entry on Hendon Mob. Both the other Hendon results were final tables as well, however, including a runner-up finish in last year’s WSOP-C January Seniors game. For Truong, this was just his second score on Hendon Mob, and comes in at about 10x his previous entry.

Shortly after Shane Brotherwood busted out in 4th, Dodds was short again and woke up with deuces. She shoved but ran into pocket tens for Ryan Truong, and Truong hit a set to add insult to injury, sending Dodds home in 3rd for $3,190.
