After a hard-fought battle, Dae Kim has walked away with his first PPT Trophy. Dae Kim was short stack on the bubble but found double after double to enter the final table as the overwhelming favourite. He found elimination after elimination bringing play down to three-handed.
Ali Razzaq found a massive double when Kim jammed with seven-eight and Razzaq called with pocket fives. Razzaq made a flush to take the chip lead and Kim slowly dwindled to the short stack. He battled back before Razzaq and Faton Bislimi agreed to chop playing a flip for the trophy.
Kim took home $5,588 and found two pair to take home the trophy. Razzaq took the largest share with $6,010, while Bislimi took home $4,890. The tournament drew 106 entries to create a prize pool of $27,189, and saw an intense level of play with the short blind structure.
