Chris Hak raised the cutoff to 1,500 and Tony Ma (who was at the final table of last night’s Big Bounty game) called from the big blind. Ma check-called for 1,300 on the A♥4♦4♠ flop and they both checked the J♠ river.
Ma fired 1,500 on the 6♦ river, and, after a bit of tank time, Hak tossed in the call. Ma showed K♥9♦ while Hak had A♣2♦.
“I was considering the raise,” Hak said as he collected the pot, as if to apologize for his time in the tank.
“All good,” replied Ma with a smile.
