It was a bit of a marathon Day 2, lasting nearly 11 hours before a winner was finally decided. In the end, Jimmy Lee powered his way through for another PPT trophy and, perhaps more importantly, crossed the $1 million mark for live poker earnings on Hendon Mob.
Lee was the big leader for much of the endgame tonight, leading most of the way on the final table. Things got pretty swingy when he got heads-up with Dallas Larson, and both players had chances to win it.
Lee and Larson traded the lead several times heads up, and it finally took a huge cooler to end it. Larson woke up with pocket jacks and limped in, looking to trap Lee into a light raise. Lee raised it to 420k, then snapped off the shove from Larson.
Larson had a premium with his jacks, but Lee was sitting even better, holding pocket kings. The board ran out with no cards bigger than a nine and the kings held for a big win.
