Ryan Comely came through for the win tonight in Event #10. The final three players cut a deal while Shawn Taghavi was chip-lead, giving him $9,994 guaranteed. That left $8,494 for Brett Higgins and Comely, with $1,000 and the trophy left to play for.
Comely quickly ran up to the big stack, sending Taghavi home in 3rd with his top score. Shortly after, he woke up with aces and slow-played them to trap Higgins. It worked the charm when Higgins flopped a pair of tens with ten-eight. The money went in on the turn, and Comely’s aces held for the win.
