£1m Guaranteed Main Event Headlines WSOPC Nottingham

The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) visits Nottingham’s Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) in November, with a £1m guaranteed prize pool Main Event. The £1,350+£150 Main Event is one of 12 ring events being staged at WSOPC Nottingham, between 14-24 November, 2025.

While the Main Event buy-in has increased from 2024’s £1,100 to this year’s £1,500, the guarantee has increased by an even bigger factor, doubling year-on-year, returning to the £1m mark that it had for the first WSOPC event held here in 2019. It’s worth noting however, that the event missed its lower guarantee of £500,000 in both 2023 and 2024.

The increased guarantee is not the only notable thing about the series. There is also a $5,000 WSOP Paradise package awarded to the winner of each of the 12 ring events, totalling $60,000 in added value across the series. Each packages includes a $2,750 entry to the $5m Mystery Bounty event in December 2025, plus 6 hotel nights and buffet dinners at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Each of the ring events also has a guaranteed prize pool, coming in at just under £1.5m in total across the series, but this landmark figure is exceeded when satellite guarantees are taken into account.

WSOPC Nottingham Ring Events Schedule

The twelve WSOPC ring events are the main focus of the series, with a range of buy-ins that ensure the series is relevant to players of all bankrolls. Many of the events are easily accessible with wallet friendly £270+£30 buy-ins, starting with the Mini Main Event, which dominates the schedule on the opening weekend. There are also several No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha single day events at this same price point.

Moving upwards, two of the ring events have £500+£60 buy-ins and then things start to get more expensive. Priced at £1,350+£150 are both the Main Event and the PLO High Roller and at the very top of the tree is the £2,700+£300 NLH High Roller.

In addition to ring events, there is also a Daily Deepstack, although it doesn’t actually take place every day. It runs with a £50+£10 buy-in on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and Monday 24th. On Sunday 23rd the buy-in is upped to £100+£20, but it does not run on any other days during the series.

Please note that 4% is deducted from prize pools (but not satellites) for tournament staff, marketing and operational expenses. It’s also worth bearing in mind that deals are not permitted on the WSOPC.

What Happened to Monday (and Tuesday)?

Although the festival runs from 14th-24th November, two of the days, currently have nothing scheduled. This could be because they are days of the week that the club is usually closed on (Monday 17th & Tuesday 19th) and they have decided to keep it that way. Or it might be that an additional schedule of non-ring events and further satellites simply haven’t been announced yet.

Previous WSOPC DTD Champions

There have been three previous WSOPC festivals held at DTD, each hosting multiple ring events. The first took place in 2019, when the Main Event buy-in was £1,100 with a guarantee of £1m on the overall prize pool. It was the biggest of the three that have been held at the club, attracting a field of 1,023 entrants and was won by Andrey Veselov for £114,530

There was then a four year hiatus before the second WSOPC at DTD took place, in 2023. For that one, the Main Event buy-in remained the same, but the guarantee was cut in half, to £500,000. It was won by Matthew Gray, who took down the £100,000 first prize, benefiting from an overlay of over £60,000, as just 439 players entered the tournament.

The third WSOPC event at DTD was in 2024, once again with the same buy-in and guarantee as the previous year. Participation in the Main Event increased to 462, but resulted in an overlay of nearly £40,000. There was a deal heads-up between Daniel Charlton and runner-up Arian Hassankashani, with Charlton taking slightly more and claiming the ring. Each banked over £70,000.
