APAT’s flagship festival, the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP), is back and bigger than ever, with the 2025 edition running from Wednesday, August 20 to Monday, August 25 at the iconic Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham, UK.
Before the official start, players can warm up with Live Day 1A of the World Amateur Poker Championship, which takes place on Sunday, August 17. That opening salvo sets the stage for a week filled with bracelet events, team competitions, mixed games, and exciting formats across the poker spectrum.
Whether you’re into PLO, mixed draw games, or pure no-limit hold’em action, WCOAP 2025 has something for every passionate amateur player.
Battle for Country and Glory: WCOAP International Team Championship
National pride takes center stage during the International Team Championship (Aug 20–21), a staple of the WCOAP that pits 4-player teams from around the world against each other across a variety of formats, including Heads Up and NLHE, PLO and PLO8 STT action, and an NLHE MTT finale.
With each team donning their national shirts and a leaderboard tracking points throughout, the event culminates in the crowning of Team Champions, with bracelets and medals awarded to the top three squads.

WCOAP 2025 features a deep slate of events designed to showcase the breadth of poker:
