poker.pro PLO Bonanza at the Beer Poker Tour

Beer Poker Tour

It’s only a couple of days left before it’s time for the third-ever edition of the Beer Poker Tour. The tour, founded by Merivan Hassan and Guillaume Diaz, focuses on creating the best vibe possible around the poker tables; it’s not just a week of exciting poker tournaments, it’s a never-ending party for the players. The Beer Poker Tour has received high praise after its first two events, and the bar is set for the upcoming stop in London.

Naturally, the £185 Main Event is the highlight of the schedule, but another intriguing tournament is the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5. Out of all the poker.pro-branded tournaments so far, this will be the biggest one, and considering the unparalleled action that PLO offers, this will be a tournament where anything can happen.

PLO equals fun

Genting Casino Stratford, London – up until very recently known as Aspers – will host the third Beer Poker Tour, October 1-7. The Beer Poker Tour has the recreational grassroots players in mind; the buy-in for the various tournaments ranges from £60 to £185 (not counting the £30 satellites to the £185 Main Event). Without a doubt, it’s the perfect poker festival for the players who are looking to play some lower-stakes tournaments, have a good time with old and new friends, and perhaps enjoy a beverage or two.

Ljubisa Nedimovic won the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5/6 during the most recent Beer Poker Tour in London

During the most recent Beer Poker Tour, which was played June 10-15, poker.pro hosted the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5/6. It was a slam-dunk success with 193 entries, culminating in a £24,340 prize pool. Ultimately, Slovenia’s Ljubisa Nedimovic emerged victorious, outlasting players like Sam Acheampong to take home the title and the £6,290 first-place payout.

The whole team at poker.pro is humbled to once again have a self-branded event at the upcoming Beer Poker Tour; the team humbly thanks Hassan and Diaz for a successful and fruitful collaboration that is destined to grow even bigger and better for many years to come.

The upcoming £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 offers four starting-day flights between September 2-4, where the levels are 30 minutes long (except for the turbo flight that is Day 1d, where the levels are 15 minutes). 13% of the total number of entries from each flight will bag their chips for Day 2, the final day (which is scheduled to commence at 17:30 on September 4). Late registration is open during the first eight levels of each starting day flight.

Although he won’t be on-site during the event, poker.pro CEO Jason Glatzer expresses his gratitude for the collaboration with the Beer Poker Tour, and is very excited about having a branded tournament during the event:

The Beer Poker Tour is known for its lively poker festivals featuring a variety of exciting events, side games, and a welcoming social vibe that makes it a favorite among British grassroots players. As the official media partner, poker.pro is proud to provide live reporting and updates from this unique event, bringing the energy, the vibe, and the action directly to poker fans around Great Britain and worldwide. We are thrilled to host for a second time a two-day £150 poker.pro PLO, building on the success of the June event, which attracted nearly 200 entries.

Brown and Karlén will arrive in London on Tuesday, September 2, and the live coverage will kick off shortly before 17:30 when cards will be in the air for Day 1a of the poker.pro PLO. The duo is eager to meet all fellow poker players during the Beer Poker Tour, share a pint of lager, and overall have a good time during one of the most enjoyable live poker events out there. The excitement for the Beer Poker Tour is big, and in a few days, the vibe will be buzzing at Aspers Casino Stratford.
