DeepStack Open Returns to Gujan-Mestras August 19–24

UDSO Gujan Mestras 2025 August

The DeepStack Open (UDSO) is set to return to the picturesque town of Gujan-Mestras for its annual summer stop from August 19 to 24, 2025. Once again hosted at the JOA Casino in the heart of Bassin d’Arcachon, the event promises six days of thrilling poker action across a diverse slate of tournaments.

A popular stop on the UDSO calendar, the Gujan-Mestras series has steadily grown in prestige and participation. Last year’s Main Event attracted 618 entries, and organizers are aiming to top that figure this summer with a packed schedule of deep-structured headliners and value-packed side events.

Main Event and Much More

The centerpiece of the series is the €490 + €60 Main Event, running August 21–24. Players will receive 50,000 starting chips, with deep 50-minute levels on Day 1A and 1B, and 20-minute levels on the turbo-format Day 1C. The top 20% of each flight will finish in the money and qualify for Day 2 on August 23, leading to the Final Day on Sunday, August 24.

Players looking for value or variety will find plenty to enjoy across the side events. The Mini UDSO kicks off the action with two Day 1 flights on August 19, featuring a €260 + €40 buy-in and 50,000-chip stacks. On August 20, the Superstack offers 100,000 chips and a mix of 60- and 20-minute levels for a €120 + €30 buy-in, followed later that evening by the €125 + €25 UDSO Turbo with 15-minute levels.

There’s also a Progressive Knockout event on August 21 with a unique €60/€60/€30 structure, and the UDSO Cup runs August 23–24 with two starting flights and a Final Day. Mixed-game fans can enter the €170 + €30 UDSO Omaha on August 24, while those wanting a short-format experience can hop into the €120 + €30 UDSO Basic the same day.
