It wouldn’t be Christmas season in the poker world without a European Poker Tour (EPT) stop in Prague. The venerable December festival in the historic Czech capital has been a fixture on the annual poker calendar for years, and on December 3rd, it returns for another round of poker fun in one of Europe’s most festive cities.
There are 69 events across 12 days of poker from Dec 3 – 14 at EPT Prague. Highlights include both PokerStars Open and EPT action, with a Main Event for each series. The PokerStars Open Main Event leads the festival, while the EPT Main Event closes the action down at the end.
Of course, in addition to the poker action, EPT Prague provides the perfect chance for a winter vacation. With millennia of history, Prague has days of sightseeing within walking distance of Wenceslas Square in the heart of historic Prague, but as the Christmas season gets into full swing, Prague turns up the festive cheer with world-famous Christmas markets dotted throughout the city.

As one of the premier poker tours in the world for the past 2 decades, the EPT is obviously the marquee name on the schedule, but the series will also feature PokerStars Open action. Both series feature a Main Event, with the EPT version costing €5,300 and the PokerStars Open game priced at €1,650.
