November at Merit Poker is all about the four-card — and five-card — fun, as the PLO Cash Game Festival descends on the North Cyprus casino for the final two weeks of the month. From Nov 19 – 30, Merit Poker will be focused on the Omaha action, both cash play and side tournaments.
Headlined by cash PLO games of all varieties from start to end, the Festival will also feature a few PLO tournaments on the side. Outside of the big cash games throughout the week, the main attraction will be the $500k guaranteed Main Event for $5,400.
Even if you prefer your poker with fewer cards, there’s still something for you during the Festival. There will be plenty of two-card Texas hold’em interspersed between the PLO games, so no matter what kind of flop poker you are looking for, Merit Poker has you covered during the PLO Cash Game Festival.
Tournament Highlights
While the main focus of the Festival will be on the cash game action running from the opening to the closing bells, tournament players will also get a chance to flex their game a bit. Dotted throughout the schedule will be some PLO tournaments to add a bit of extra heat to the November games.
Main Event — PLO 5-Card $2,000 KO with $500k Guaranteed
The main tournament on the schedule is the PLO 5-Card Main Event. Played in the knockout format, $2k of the $5,400 buy-in goes to the flat bounty, with $3k into the prize pool and a $400 registration fee.

Package Details
Dedicated cash game players have a chance to get a bit of a deal on their trip to Cyprus. Free rooms at the Merit Park Hotel are available for players who put in time on the cash game tables
Players who bank 6 hours per day on cash will be eligible for a single room, and 8 hours of cash play per day will bag a double room. For players sharing the room with a friend, the threshold will be 10 hours of cash game play. Note that this is done via a deposit system, meaning that players will pay full cost for the rooms up front, then get reimbursed for days they qualify for the deal.
Tournament specialists aren’t left out either. Details about the tournament packages are available from the Merit marketing team but depending on the deal, players can either get a free room at Palmonte Hotel or 50% off at Merit Park Hotel.
