Jenny Westerlund Wins Queens; Jae Han Kim Leads Final 16 in Kings of Vilnius Main Event

Jenny Westerlund

Saturday’s penultimate day at the 2025 Kings of Vilnius, powered by OlyBet, brought the heat to Olympic Casino Lietuva as the festival charged toward Sunday’s thrilling finale, with three players crowned champions while the €1,100 Main Event roared on and the two-day €555 NLH OlyBet Special shuffled up and dealt.

The €1,100 Kings of Vilnius Main Event attracted 34 new entries before late registration closed on Day 2, bringing the total field to 327 and a huge €310,650 prize pool. The action played deep into the money with the top 41 players earning at least a €2,220 min-cash. The 16 returning players on Sunday at Noon have already locked up nearly double that with at least €4,000 already earned.

Jae Han Kim will lead the final two tables as the only chip millionaire with 1,615,000 in chips. This is familiar territory for Kim, as he made a deep run in the €2,000 NLH High Roller earlier this week, finishing third for €12,240 after qualifying via a €80 satellite.

Meanwhile, Sweden’s Jenny Westerlund has done it again and managed yet another prestigious victory after defeating Finland’s Anne Bezdek heads-up in the €150 NLH Queens for €1,988. While this pales in comparison to the €200,200 Westerlund earned earlier this year after winning the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €1,500 Main Event, it will be a victory remembered in its own right, with the tight camaraderie between the talented women shining in the field.

Finland’s Jan Granlund won the €250 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty for €1,525 plus bounties after defeating Lithuania’s Stanislovas Viničenka heads-up. Meanwhile, the €555 NLH OlyBet Special witnessed 89 runners on its opening day for a €42,275 prize pool. Latvia’s Klavs Garselis bagged the overnight chip lead with just 23 players remaining.

While the casino was packed on Saturday evening, many players across Europe battled online for a trophy in the €150 Kings of Vilnius OlyBet Online Progressive Bounty at OlyBet Poker. The event smashed its €5,000 guarantee with 48 runners creating a €6,720 prize pool, including €3,360 in bounties. Eduard “winbetyama” Palčevskij earned the trophy to win €2,456, including €1,652 in bounties.

Chip Millionaire Jae Han Kim Leads €1,100 Kings of Vilnius Main Event

Jae Han Kim

After an epic 12-hour grind, the field has been carved down to just 16 warriors battling for the €1,100 Kings of Vilnius Main Event crown. From an original 133 Day 2 runners, only the toughest remain, all eyes locked on the hefty €63,290 first-place prize. The overall turnout swelled to 327 entries as 34 more players joined on Day 2, pushing the prize pool well past the €250,000 guarantee to a massive €310,650. Many players already earned payout slips on Day two, with 41 players in the money, with the minimum payout sitting at a tidy €2,220.

At the top of the leaderboard sits South Korea’s Jae Han Kim, packing a monster 1,615,000 chip stack. His rise was anything but subtle. Kim hit the spotlight with a jaw-dropping one-card quad deuces on the turn, pulling off a stunning knockout against long-time chip leader Michael Kim Falcon. The latter shoved on the river with a full house, only to watch his fortress crumble in one of the day’s most brutal hands. Kim, already solid with a third-place High Roller finish in this series, now chases the ultimate upgrade, turning bronze into Main Event gold.

Egidijus Digrys

Right on his heels, Lithuania’s own Egidijus Digrys (975,000) and Mantas Bagocius (910,000) loom large, carrying the flag for the home crowd. Meanwhile, Liutauras Armanavicius (210,000) and Ridas Bitauskas (285,000) will need to muscle their way back from short-stack trouble if they want to make a deep run. The bubble boy, Dmitri Dudakov, fell just shy after an 80-minute war of attrition. Shortly after the money bubble broke, the defending Kings of Vilnius Main Event champ Aurimas Stanevicius ended his run in 35th place for €2,430.

Day 3 promises a furious battle where every decision and bluff will shape the hunt for the throne at the Kings of Vilnius. The storylines are set, chips are up for grabs, and the hunt for poker glory is far from over.
