Heartfelt goodbyes were shared as the final cards were dealt on Sunday in the 2025 Kings of Vilnius, powered by OlyBet, in the heart of Lithuania’s capital at Olympic Park Casino. Three winners were crowned, highlighted by Lithuanian poker veteran Mantas Bagočius shipping the €1,100 Main Event.
The 2025 Kings of Vilnius €1,100 Main Event proved once again why it’s the crown jewel of Lithuania’s poker calendar. After a grueling ten-hour final day, Bagočius emerged victorious from a massive 327-player field that smashed the €250,000 guarantee to create a €310,650 prize pool. The hometown hero claimed the prestigious title alongside a first-place prize of €58,130, sealing the deal after a heads-up deal with his countryman Paulius Kisielius, who took home €47,630.
Bagočius, a well-known figure in the poker world with a WSOP Online Super Circuit ring and a Sunday Million title, brought a blend of experience, poise, and resilience that defined his comeback year.
“It’s very special,” reflected Bagočius to poker.pro live reporter Richard Hayes after his victory. “I’ve been playing here for at least 15 years; it’s one of my favorite places to play. If you’re from here, this is the one you want to win; it’s a special event. I mainly play online, so to win in the live arena is nice. I’ve had a bit of a renaissance this year, winning the ring and now this, after a tough couple of years where I was really starting to question where I was going; it was maybe starting to affect my confidence in my game. But I continued working hard and studying, and this year things have clicked into place. I have a winner’s mentality, I only think about winning when I play.”
In other news, Lithuania’s Einius Jurgevičius defeated Latvia’s Klavs Garselis in the two-day €555 NLH OlyBet Special for €12,840. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom’s Mark Adams nearly ended the festival the way he began by earning a trophy in the €200 PLO for €1,940. He was heads-up in the final event, the €250 NLH Wrap-up Progressive Knockout, with already the top prize of €1,895 locked up, along with some bounties collected along the way. He wasn’t able to join the likes of Tomas Pinkevičius, who won two trophies during the 2025 Kings of Vilnius, as Ukraine’s Volodymyr Bezverkhyi won the final trophy instead, along with the big bounty at the end.

Mantas Bagočius Crowned Kings of Vilnius Main Event Royalty

The final day started fast and furious. With 16 players returning for Day 3, they quickly whittled down to the final table of nine, filled with a mix of local talent and international contenders. South Korea’s Jae Han Kim was the day’s early chip leader but lost momentum when Vasilij Barna knocked him out in seventh, grabbing the chip lead and sending shockwaves through the field.
Barna’s aggressive reign was short-lived, though, as Paulius Kisielius delivered a series of clutch plays to seize control. The showdown between Bagočius, Kisielius, and Deividas Butnoras became the highlight of the final table, with Butnoras bowing out after a brutal two-outer river from Kisielius left him short.

Heads-up, Bagočius faced a daunting nearly 3:1 chip deficit against Kisielius. Still, with razor-sharp play and bold bluffs, including a masterful river bluff jam that won a crucial pot, he swiftly chipped back into contention. The two soon agreed on a deal but battled on for the title and an additional €10,500 in prize money. The ensuing two-hour duel was akin to a chess match of respect and skill, with neither player willing to give an inch.
In the end, Bagočius clinched the victory in a dramatic final hand when Kisielius’ aggressive turn shove with top pair was bested by Bagočius’ superior kicker, leaving the healthy crowd applauding Bagočius’ epic title.
Both of the Kings of Vilnius Main Event titles have remained on home soil, with Aurimas Stanevičius showcasing a year to remember in 2024, which included a 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event victory for €167,900, with another big title on home soil in the 2024 Kings of Vilnius €1,100 Main Event for €61,455.
