Five trophies were awarded on Saturday’s penultimate day of the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition at Olympic Voodoo Casino.
Lithuania’s Arunas Satkus entered his name into Latvian poker history as he won the largest €1,100 buy-in event on Latvian soil in OlyBet history after defeating Germany’s Konstantin Farber heads-up to win the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition €1,100 Main Event for €33,330.
While Satkus deserved the spotlight, he wasn’t the first champion crowned on Saturday, with Latvia’s Aigars Petrovs winning the two-day €350 NLH Progressive Bounty for €4,330 plus bounties. The Latvian contingent won two more trophies with Agnese Barča winning the €80 NLH Queens for a cool €1,000 and Andrejs Krasovskis finding gold in the €200 NLH/PLO4/PLO5 for €2,420.
Finland’s Vili Turunen virtually won the final trophy as he outlasted a field of 58 entries for a €8,120 prize pool to win the €150 OlyBet Showdown Riga Online Progressive Bounty for €2,246, including €1,376 in progressive bounties at OlyBet Poker under the “CoffeeNcode” screenname.
In other news, Latvia’s Toms Vilciņš leads the final multi-day event with the two-day €350 NLH OlyBOOST Mystery Bounty attracting 103 entries. Just 13 players remain when mystery bounty envelopes will start to be pulled after the action resumes on Sunday at Noon.

Arunas Satkus Wins Largest OlyBet Main Event in Latvia

The 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition €1,100 Main Event attracted 150 entries to create €142,500 in prizes to establish a new gold standard for OlyBet Poker in Latvia. Players went deep into the money on Friday’s Day 2 with the top 20 players guaranteed at least a €2,030 payout and just 10 players remaining at the start of Saturday’s final day.
Several storylines were emerging both before and during the final table. The defending champion from Latvia Roberts Krīgers, and two-time WSOP Circuit Tallinn ring winner Ēriks Krūmiņš began the final day with the chip lead, looking to cement their status in the Baltic poker community. Meanwhile, the short stacks in Latvia’s Yaniv Peretz and his friend Gabi Livshitz from Israel appeared primed to emerge from the dust.
However, despite deep runs, only Peretz out of that group managed to make the podium in third place for €15,950, straight after Krīgers (fourth – €12,430), Krūmiņš (fifth – €9,650), and Livshitz (sixth – €7,510) collected their payout slips with Israel’s Alexander Levin (seventh – €5,850), Finland’s Pekka Ikonen (eighth – €4,730), Latvia’s Edgars Beizaks (ninth – €3,800), and Henrik Veldhoen (10th – €3,150) ending their days earlier.
Arunas Satkus held a commanding chip lead against Germany’s Konstantin Farber with a huge pay jump on the line. Satkus made short work of his opponent to earn the trophy and the €33,330 top prize, while Farber earned a huge payday of €22,060 for his runner-up effort.

Agnese Barča Wins €80 NLH Queens

The €80 NLH Queens witnessed a healthy gathering of women in poker with 42 entries creating a €2,793 prize pool with the top five players earning at least €250 for more than triple the buy-in. A €10 satellite kicked a few hours before the €80 NLH Queens began. Lithuania’s Giedre Valgemae, who is fresh off both a GGMasters victory at OlyBet Poker for $142,054 and a 2025 Queens of Tallinn €350 NLH Main Event victory for €5,690, was one of the players who won a ticket in the satellite. Like the four others, she was unfortunately unable to find her way into the money in the target event, the €80 NLH Queens.
Both the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event champion Jenny Westerlund (third – €500) and OlyBet Poker veteran from Finland Anne Bezdek (fourth – €343) collected payout slips after local player Sandra Krastina (fifth – €250) collected the min-cash, guaranteeing that the trophy would stay on home soil with two Latvians remaining.
Latvia’s Agnese Barča just missed out on the final day of the €1,100 Main Event after bowing out in 11th place for €3,150. She was hungry for the trophy and defeated fellow Latvian Sabīna Zālīte (second – €700) heads-up for the title and the €1,000 top prize.

Andrejs Krasovskis Wins €200 NLH/PLO4/PLO5

The €200 NLH/PLO4/PLO5 was the final event to kick off at Olympic Voodoo Casino on Saturday evening, with 42 runners getting into the mix to create a €6,783.
A rail developed during the money bubble with poker.pro host and social media guru Glenn Brown and Finnish vlogger Joni Liimatta as the short stacks. Both Brown and Liimatta managed to double, but eventually Brown was down to crumbs and just missed out on the payouts in sixth place.
Side event winner Jonas Lapinskas from Lithuania was on the podium in an event for a third straight day before bowing out in third place for €1,220. While Liimatta could have easily bubbled the event, he managed to climb up to second place for €1,700 after Latvia’s Andrejs Krasovskis won all the chips to earn the trophy and the €2,420 top prize.
Place | Player | Country | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Latvia | €2,420 | |
