OlyBet Showdown Tallinn Welcomes Vibrant Opening Day Crowd

Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park

The inaugural 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn shimmered into action on Friday, April 10, as spring sunshine streamed across the city and the Olympic Park Casino transformed into the epicenter of Baltic poker. From the moment cards hit the felt, players from the Baltics, Scandinavia, and beyond filled the casino floor, eager to launch nine days of high-stakes action and lively competition.

The opening day carried the spirit of a long-awaited reunion under Tallinn’s bright April skies, with familiar faces from past OlyBet Showdown stops mingling with newcomers discovering the allure of Estonia’s capital in full bloom. Our friends at Win TV powered much of that buzz in the early moments with the live-streamed two-day €250 NLH OlyBet Win TV Superlive, attracting a banner crowd of 163 entries for a €34,067 prize pool with one player slated to earn the €7,927 on the Win TV live stream across a variety of social media channels.

Meanwhile, Aleksei Suhhorukov denied hometown hero Robert Kallikorm the first title at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn by earning the trophy in the €200 PLO Bounty for €1,655 plus bounties.

Aleksei Suhhorukov Wins First Trophy in OlyBet Showdown Tallinn History

Tallinn has hosted tons of events to be proud of over the past decade, including the likes of the iconic Kings of Tallinn and the WSOP Circuit Tallinn. However, history is being made as we speak, as the red carpet is rolled out for the first OlyBet Showdown Tallinn, building on the success of the brand established in the two other Baltic capitals: Vilnius at Olympic Casino Lietuva and Riga at Olympic Voodoo Casino.

Aleksei Suhhorukov will hold the honor of winning the first-ever trophy at the OlyBet Showdown Tallinn history after defeating Estonia’s Robert Kallikorm heads-up en route to the title. Both Suhhorukov and Kallikorm earned the €1,655 top prize, along with whatever bounties they collected along the way, with Suhhorukov also going home with a coveted trophy.

The event attracted 58 runners, creating €8,810 in prizes, including €2,900 in bounties, with the top six players earning at least a €410 min-cash after Estonian Kait Hinn bubbled the event in seventh place.
