Sunday Funday hit full stride at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn, with Olympic Park Casino buzzing with action from the opening moments.

Norway’s Vidar Assersen emerged with the day’s lone trophy, taking down the €350 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty after defeating Finland’s Joni Haltia. Both players earned the €1,815 top prize from the prize pool, with Assersen earning Norway its first trophy of the festival and the sizeable final bounty.

Meanwhile, the €350 Mini Main Event opened with a lively 77-entry Day 1a and still has two more starting flights on Monday to build the field. With late registration staying open into Day 2, the festival’s momentum is already surging, and the big stacks are just getting started. Lithuania’s Sarunas Dargis led the 26 players to advance via Day 1a after parlaying his 30,000 opening stack into 221,500 to set the gold standard for Monday’s opening flight players.

Going into Sunday, Estonia topped the leaderboard after winning two trophies on Saturday, with players from Latvia, Finland, and Russia all getting their countries on the leaderboard with one trophy each. Norway joined the crowd on Sunday, thanks to Norway’s Vidar Assersen continuing his success at OlyBet-branded events throughout the Baltics with another trophy victory by shipping the €350 PLO4/PLO5 for €1,815 plus bounties.

Despite plenty of final tables and near-finishes, this is only the second trophy at an International Event for the seasoned veteran, according to The Hendon Mob, which lists more than $150,000 in total live poker tournament earnings for him, providing a memorable poker moment for the friendly Norwegian.

The €350 PLO4/PLO5 attracted 31 entries, creating €9,130 in prizes, including €3,100 in bounties, with the top five players earning at least €400 from the prize pool.
