Even though the bar was set insanely high, the penultimate day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville managed to exceed expectations once again. The sixth day of the week-long festival was headlined by Day 2 of the €500 Main Event. The tournament went on for roughly 10 hours before the remaining 13 players got to call it a night, bagging for tomorrow’s conclusion of the flagship event. There were also two starting-day flights of the €250 PLO Masters Main Event on the menu, which combined sent 15 players into tomorrow’s finale. Last but not least, Saturday also featured a lot of side action, and two trophies were awarded at the end of the night.
Marathon €500 Main Event Flight
When the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville kicked off on Monday, March 16, the atmosphere was buzzing at Admiral Casino from the get-go. The whole festival kicked off with a record-breaking €150 Mini Main Event flight, and considering the massive turnout, the expectations were high for the later stages of the festival. All the prophecies came true; Casino Admiral felt like the epicenter of Spain on Saturday, and it was a challenge to grasp the number of players inside the casino, living life to the fullest.

Saturday’s action kicked off at 12:00 with the fourth and final starting-day flight of the Main Event. It was a hyper-turbo affair that scored 35 entries, and eight of them were fortunate (and, first and foremost, skillful) enough to make it through to Day 2. Irish poker legend Annette O’Carroll was one of them, finishing the flight third in the chip counts, trailing Day 1d chip leader Neill Higgins with only 5,000.

Day 1d finished around 16:00, meaning Day 2 could start on the scheduled time, 17:00. Considering Day 1d was done and dusted, PartyPoker and Admiral Casino could confirm the final numbers. The four starting-day flights combined had registered 383 entries, meaning the final prize pool read €170,435. The €100,000 guarantee was hit already during the earlier stages of Day 1b; it’s safe to say the Main Event is a slam-dunk of a success. All in all, 96 players returned for Day 2, and they all had their eyes on the prize: a €30,500 first-place payout, the coveted trophy, and, most importantly, the prestigious title and the opportunity to write eternal poker history.

Fifty-five players would be guaranteed a €1,000 min-cash. Prominent player Balise Bourgeois would not be one of those; in fact, he became the first one to bid farewell on Day 2, after his opponent hit a two-outer on the river. Another notable name who sooned join Bourgeois on the rail was PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter. Speaking of the Ambassadors, many of them had made Day 2. They had their work cut out for them, though, and as the tournament progressed, Daniel Garcia and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell both had to wave the white flag. Another skillful player who made an early exit was David Lappin, who, by the way, made the final table of the £500 Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow.
After a surprisingly short bubble, Geron Dalipi became the unfortunate bubble boy, as he went out in fifty-sixth place against fellow Spaniard Andres Herrera. As Dalipi left the tournament area, the remaining players all celebrated being in the money. In traditional fashion, a post-bubble bustout bonanza followed, which saw many of the shorter stacks claiming the min-cashes. Two ambassadors, who also happen to be the co-founders of The Hendon Mob, Barny Boatman and Joe Beevers, were amongst the early casualties. PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples joined them on the rail a few hours later, as he went out in twenty-eight place for €1,200. Other notable names who made deep runs were Annette O’Carroll (twenty-second, €1,350) and Dara O’Kearney (sixteenth, €1,650), both waving the Irish flag.

Play wrapped up around 03:45, seeing 13 players bag for Day 3. Still in the field is Barbara Jiménez, the sole PartyPoker Tour Ambassador still in the mix. She’s roughly in the middle of the chip counts. Leading the field going into Day 3 is Ruben Perez Correa with roughly 3,800,000. Anything can happen, though, and it’s going to be a thrilling conclusion in the flagship tournament of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville. The poker.pro live coverage will commence at 17:00 today, following the outer table, while the featured table will go live on PartyPoker’s YouTube channel at 17:30.

Immense Side Event Action
Day 2 of the Main Event might have been the highlight on Saturday, but the schedule packed far more action. Two starting-day flights of the €250 PLO Masters Main Event were available for all four-card enthusiasts, and the first one, Day 1b, kicked off at 16:00. It scored 31 entries, and six of them made it through to Day 2. Another six advanced from Day 1c (which scored 20 entries in total), bringing the total number of players in Day 2 to 16 as of right now.
Last but not least, there were two smaller yet very prestigious side events that occupied their fair share of the tournament area. The €200 NLH Sponsored by Faded Spade drew 72 entries, translating to a €12,240 prize pool. Ten places were paid, and one of the players who made it all the way to the final table was Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford. Crawford has had quite a good week in Seville with several deep runs, where her seventh-place finish in the €150 Mini Main Event for €1,780 might be the most impressive one. This time, she finished sixth. The trophy and the €3,750 first-place payout belonged to Dave Pollock, a much-experienced Irish poker player, who added another win to his already impressive resume.

Last but not least, it was Scott Hill’s time to shine, as the €60 Tennesee Hold ‘Em Seville Championship kicked off at 21:00. Hill is the inventor of the game, and he collaborates with the PartyPoker Tour, visiting every stop and hosting a tournament. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty is one of those who are very fond of the game, and she answered for two out of the 29 entries. Hill was very happy with the turnout; in fact, there was a queue for players to enter. The shy €600 guarantee was made quick work out of, as the final prize pool read €1,450. Hardisty and her sister-in-law, Ryana Kritzer, both came in the top five, i.e., in the money. Hardisty managed to score a third-place finish, while Danny Ryder emerged victorious, claiming the €570 first-place payout, the trophy, and the Championship title.
