Final Table Recap
Sofia Irene came into the final table with the lead, closely followed by Keshinro, while Leal was sitting in third. Adewale Keshinro claimed the first scalp, and the chip lead, when he outflopped Safak Senyuksel’s pocket queens.
Irene wrestled the lead back when she disposed of Barry O’Shea in eighth, but took a hit when she doubled Menda, and sustained some further damage when Leal turned a one-card flush.

Sidharth Menda woke up with cowboys to bust John Squibb in seventh, and Irene took a big chunk out of Keshinro when she spiked the river to hit two pair with an inferior ace. Keshinro was left with crumbs after falling into a trap set by Atanas Hristov with Big Slick, and Constable finished him off shortly after in sixth.
Menda was next to go when Leal spiked a pair on the river in a flip, and Andre Leal was on the right end of another flip to bust Constable in fourth. That set the stage for three-handed combat between Leal, Irene and Hristov, with Leal and Irene almost even, and Hristov trailing, albeit only a double behind.
A brutal cooler between the champion and Irene resulted in her downfall. Irene flopped top pair, but Leal had hit trips. All the chips hit the middle on the turn, leaving the victor with a 4:1 advantage over Hristov at the start of heads-up play.
Leal only required one hand to bring the contest to a swift conclusion. Both players were dealt an ace, and while the Bulgarian had Leal dominated, the Portuguese went runner-runner to make the nut flush and take the title.
