Lang may yer lum reek! After the first two successful stops in London and Manchester, the 2025 PartyPoker Tour heads on to its third location. This time, it’s Alea Casino’s turn to roll out the red carpet, as the next stop for the PartyPoker train is Glasgow, Scotland. Get ready for a week filled with unparalleled poker action in the Scottish gem, August 12-17. Headlined by a £500 Main Event, the third installment of what is a very successful live poker tour will not disappoint.
poker.pro will be on-site throughout the festival, bringing you live updates and coverage from the Main Event, the Mini Main, and our very own poker.pro PL H.OR.S.E. event, so whether you’re playing or railing, you won’t miss a beat.
A Mix of Old and New
Bagpipes, haggis, the Loch Ness monster. Scotland is famous for many things, and soon, it will contribute to poker history when it’s time for the PartyPoker Tour to pay Glasgow a visit. The bar is set after two splendid events in London and Manchester, and there’s no doubt that PartyPoker’s comeback to the live poker circuit has been a slam dunk.

With their success in Manchester, PartyPoker proved London was more than just a one-hit wonder. As such, the expectations for the Glasgow stop are high. There are a few recognizable events in the tournament schedule, such as the £150 Mini Main Event, the £150 Faded Spade NLH, and the £250 Mystery Bounty.
Of course, the £500 Main Event is also a recurring feature. The tournament has achieved legendary status at this point, and if history is to teach us something, the action and suspense in this crown jewel of a poker tournament will have all poker enthusiasts walking on eggshells. The London edition scored a whopping 491 entries, and winner Getnet Kassa walked away with £38,408, by far the biggest share of the £216,703 prize pool. In Manchester, Deniz Orhan navigated his way through the field of 243 entries and earned himself £19,843. Of course, similar numbers are to be expected in Glasgow.

This should be common knowledge by now, but the best way to secure one’s ticket to any of the remaining PartyPoker stops is through the online satellites. Players can secure packages for mere cents, and there are even qualifiers running for side events. For the five stops in 2025, PartyPoker is sending over 1,000 players to the live fields, and it would be insane not to give the online qualifiers a shot.

Now, things are amped up, and the £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E will be a very unique tournament that’s one of the first of its kind. Other gems in the tournament schedule are the introduction of the PLO Masters series and the return of Tennessee Hold ‘Em, a brand-new poker game that the players appreciated during the earlier stops.

Glasgow will be quite the scenic stop for the PartyPoker Tour. Alea Casino is beautifully located with views over the River Clyde and the Glasgow City Skyline. The casino consists of two floors, and it has hosted its fair share of live poker festivals in the past. The PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors, such as Jaime Staples, Sam Acheampong, and Alexander Georgiev, are, of course, expected to be on-site in the Scottish capital.
The buzz of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour keeps getting bigger and bigger after every event, and the third chapter is soon to be written in Glasgow. Scotland, get ready.
