The 2025 PartyPoker Manchester concluded just a few days ago, when Deniz Ohran won the £500 Main Event for £19,843. For a whole week, cards were flying and chips were crackling at the Manchester235 Casino, and no doubt, the event lived up to the standard set in London a few weeks prior.

Right in the middle of the Manchester action, PartyPoker decided to stir the pot by delivering some breaking news. Their official team of ambassadors for the ongoing UK tour has been announced, and it’s a colorful bunch of people who surely will wear the PartyPoker patch with the highest of pride.

The Fantastic Seven

In order to promote their live events in the best way possible, PartyPoker has selected a team consisting of seven ambassadors. One thing that all of these have in common is that they’re all super nice. They all made an appearance during the London and/or Manchester events, and now, they’ve officially been assigned the mission to elevate the 2025 PartyPoker UK Tour to the next level.

The question on everyone’s mind now is, of course, who are they?

First out, there’s Joe Beevers. Being a co-founder of the world’s largest live poker database, The Hendon Mob, Beevers doesn’t need much of an introduction. He’s obviously been a very successful player as well, aside from everything that he’s done through the global community through his work at The Hendon Mob. During the PartyPoker Tour Conference (which was a part of the London event), Beevers told the tale of The Hendon Mob and the site’s plans for the future, together with Head of Partnerships at The Hendon Mob, Roland Boothby.

Then there’s Barry Carter. Carter is a very familiar face on the poker media scene. Editor, writer, marketer, player, you name it; Carter’s basically been doing everything that can be done in the poker industry. He’s the co-author of books such as “The Mental Game of Poker” and “Endgame Poker Strategy: The ICM Book”. Last year, he received two Global Poker Awards, further cementing his status as a modern-day legend in the world of poker.

Natalie Bromley is also part of the team. She’s been playing poker for more than 15 years, and she’s somewhat of a poker globetrotter. She’s proven to be a great player, scoring deep runs in sought-after events such as the Irish Poker Open, WSOP, and the EPT. Her arguably greatest contribution to the poker community, though, is the founding of “Hearts of Queens”. The organization has been raising awareness for women’s charities since 2022, and they do it all to live up to their vision: “To help women everywhere”.

Next, there is Asif Warris. His love for the game of poker resembles a child’s love of candy, and it’s evident that he enjoys traveling around the world, participating in different poker events. In fact, he’s been qualifying for many live events throughout the years, and when/if he busts from a tournament, he explores the city and soaks up the local vibe. “The Poker Tourist” is quite a fitting nickname for this charismatic gentleman.

When speaking about charisma amongst poker players, it’s hard not to think about Sam Acheampong. He’s been a familiar face on the UK poker scene for years, ever since he started his journey at the legendary Gutshot Club. With a great sense of humor, he has an ability to make the more inexperienced players feel comfortable at the tables (this reporter speaks from experience, as I had the pleasure to sit at Acheampong’s table during Tuesday’s staff tournament). Don’t get it twisted, though: he’s a top-notch player, and with a combination of great poker skills and a very social and friendly demeanor, he ought to be the perfect ambassador for the PartyPoker UK Tour going forward.

Alexander Georgiev may be more known to some under his alias “Wishiper96”. It wasn’t too long ago that Georgiev decided to pursue poker full-time, and his resume reads poker pro, streamer, and content creator. He’s kicked off his collaboration with PartyPoker in fitting fashion as he was able to put all of his poker skills on display in Manchester; he had a very deep run in the Main Event, finishing in fourth for £6,860.

Last but absolutely not least, there’s Glenn Brown. Being regional director and the representative face for Redtooth Poker, Brown is a candidate for “Mr. Poker” in the UK; PartyPoker couldn’t have teamed up with a better guy in terms of getting the word of the tour out to the masses. Brown doesn’t like to limit himself, and when he’s not doing Redtooth-related things, he’s a sought-after poker host for various events across the world.

It’s evident that PartyPoker have spent a lot of thought creating the perfect team of ambassadors for their ongoing live tour. It’s safe to say they knocked this one out of the park, just like they tend to do with everything they touch. The poker.pro team is blessed to get the opportunity to share the journey, both with the PartyPoker staff, but also with these fantastic seven ambassadors.
