The dust has barely settled after the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Winter Edition). December 15-21, the fifth and final stop of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was held at Genting Casino Stratford, London. It was yet another successful event by PartyPoker, who announced their return to the live poker scene roughly one year ago. With momentum already building for what comes next, satellites for the 2026 season are already running on PartyPoker, giving players an early chance to secure their seats.
The first year since their revival is now officially in the books, and considering how appreciated the tour has been by all the players, there’s no reason for PartyPoker to hit the brakes. A few weeks ago, they announced several stops for 2026. The tour is destined to grow bigger and better as it expands to include stops in Spain, as well as the United Kingdom. It’ll all start in the UK, more precisely the city of Sheffield, and the schedule for the first 2026 PartyPoker Tour stop is now official.
Action in Steel City
London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and then back to London. It’s safe to say the 2025 PartyPoker Tour covered its fair distance, and next year, the tour will extend outside of the UK borders. Two stops have already been announced in Spain (Seville and Madrid), but before that, PartyPoker will kick off the 2026 live poker season in Sheffield, also known as “The Steel City.”
The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield will be played January 27-February 1 at Genting Casino Sheffield. It’s the first time in years that this venue hosts a festival of this magnitude, and what an event it’s destined to be. With 16 unique tournaments on the schedule, including a variety of games and buy-ins, the 2026 PartyPoker Tour is appealing to all kinds of players, something that’s been proven this year.

The £500 Main Event is returning in its familiar form, and it has been a winning concept throughout the 2025 tour. Those who’ve been following the tour this year can vouch for the sublime tournament structure that the Main Event holds. Getnet Kassa, Deniz Orhan, Zhen Zhen, Tai Hoang, and Thomas Sanderson captured the Main Event titles this year; time will tell what winners will be crowned in 2026, and the one who emerges victorious in Sheffield will join a group of very competent players in the PartyPoker Hall of Fame. The tournament still features a £100,000 guarantee, and without a doubt, the Main Event will be the most prestigious tournament in Sheffield.
There are more familiar tournaments returning in 2026. The £150 Mini Main Event features four starting-day flights. Holding a £40,000 guarantee (which is quite substantial compared to the low buy-in), one can understand why this tournament has proven to be one of the most popular in terms of entries. During the very recent London stop, the Mini Main Event attracted 726 entries, and the guarantee was completely shattered as the prize pool read an impressive £90,750.

Then, there’s the PLO Masters, the lovechild of UK poker legend JJ Hazan. The PLO Masters is a series of PLO tournaments that is running during various live poker series, and the PartyPoker Tour has been the key partner. There will be four PLO Masters tournaments during the Sheffield stop, and the £250 PLO Masters Main Event with its £20,000 guarantee should attract many four-card lovers.

Speaking of partners hosting tournaments during the various PartyPoker Tour stops, poker.pro will continue to have a few self-branded events. In Sheffield, players can expect the unique £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E. The Mixed Games discipline isn’t usually played pot limit, but it was something poker.pro and PartyPoker tried during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow. It was a slam-dunk, and since then, the one-of-a-kind tournament has been a staple on the PartyPoker Tour schedules. What’s more, the £60 poker.pro Sunday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty is destined to be an action-packed affair, considering it’s scheduled to be the final tournament of the Sheffield event.

Apart from everything mentioned above, players can also expect various side events, with buy-ins ranging between £60-£250. There’ll also be Target Stack Satellites running for the Main Event, the Mini Main Event, the PLO Masters Main Event, and, of course, the £1,000 High Roller. In other words, the stage is set for a week of unparalleled poker action in Sheffield.

Qualify Online for Mere Cents
One of the biggest strengths of the PartyPoker Tour has been, and will continue to be, the opportunities to qualify for the various stops. On the PartyPoker online poker client, players can secure their visit to Sheffield for just £0.20. What’s astonishing is that it can be even cheaper than that, seeing as there will be some freerolls running on the site as well. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter was spot on when he said the online qualifiers are the “Secret Sauce” of the tour, and considering more than 1,000 players won their seats/packages online this year, it’s safe to say PartyPoker has found a winning concept that is very appreciated by the poker community.
Besides satellites to live events, PartyPoker also packs plenty of extra value for online grinders. New players can unlock a 100% welcome bonus up to £1,000 plus £50 in FREE PLAY, earn weekly cashback of up to 20%, and chase mystery rewards through Party Cases, which can pay out cash, tickets, and poker dollars. On top of that, hourly freerolls and daily All-In or Fold games offer constant chances to play and win without stretching your bankroll.

It’s very fitting that the first event of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour will be held at the Genting Casino Sheffield. It’s been voted the best venue by the people, and it also received the award for “Best entertainment venue.” One can see why; it’s a luxurious casino that is guaranteed to bring all its visitors a top-notch live poker experience. Located in the heart of Sheffield, you won’t have a hard time getting to the casino, no matter where you stay in the city. Those abroad who plan to participate in the event should fly to Manchester Airport. From there, they can take the train to Manchester Piccadilly, and there change for a train to Sheffield. The entire logistics operation should take approximately one hour.
What a year PartyPoker have had; their comeback to the live poker scene has been nothing less than a roaring success, and the expectations are high for the 2026 season.
