PartyPoker Reveals London as Final Stop of 2025 Tour

2025 PartyPoker London

The fourth stop of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour concluded roughly a week ago, with Tai Hoang winning the £500 Main Event in Birmingham. It was yet another successful event, and time and time again, PartyPoker proves that its comeback to the live poker tour wants to change the live poker landscape. With a diversified tournament schedule that attracts all grassroots players as well as a handful of very prominent names in the game, PartyPoker has truly established its role as a serious contender on the live poker scene.

A fifth and final stop was promised when the series was announced, and the other day, the big news was revealed. The fifth and final stop of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour will be held at Genting Casino Stratford, London, and it’s destined to be a fitting wrap-up of what will go down in history as one of the most appreciated poker tours in the UK of all time.

Back to the Roots

This poker journalist remembers very clearly hearing the news of PartyPoker’s return to the live poker scene in the form of the PartyPoker tour at the end of January this year. Five stops were announced all across the UK, and now, the fifth and final stop is less than two months away. In fitting fashion, it all will conclude at the very place where it started.

The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (December Edition, if you may) will be held at Genting Casino Stratford (formerly known as Aspers), London, between December 15-21. Throughout the year, poker.pro have been blessed with the opportunity of being the official media partner of the tour. Hence, we can speak from experience when we say that we have seen legendary poker moments, recreational players becoming big-time winners, and a live poker circuit that truly stands out from the masses.

The schedule for the upcoming London event was released on Thursday, October 23, and it’s an intriguing one to say the least. With 19 unique events on the schedule, there’s a beautiful diversification of various poker disciplines. The big highlight of the schedule, though, is undeniably the £500 Main Event with a £100,000 guarantee. The flagship tournament kicks off with the first flight on December 18, and after Day 3 concludes on December 21, there’ll be a new 2025 PartyPoker Tour Main Event winner joining the Hall of Fame, which currently consists of the four previous winners: Getnet Kassa, Deniz Orhan, Zhen Zhen, and the newly-crowned Birmingham champion Tai Hoang.

Qualify for the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Online for £0.20

One of the major keys to the 2025 PartyPoker Tour’s success has been the superb opportunities to qualify for the various events through the online satellites and step qualifiers. In fact, players can get their hands on a £1,000 package for just £0.20. PartyPoker announced at the beginning of the year that they’re sending 1,000 players to the live fields through the online poker client, and it’s for sure the cheapest and best way to secure one’s ticket to what is guaranteed to be the poker experience of a lifetime. All players would be very wise to browse the PartyPoker client and check out the smorgasbord of satellites available.

A Utopian Tournament Schedule

Holding a £100,000 guarantee (which, by the way, has been shattered during all previous events), one can understand why the Main Event has been so appealing to all players. The PartyPoker Tour crew, led by VibeLive (the tour’s event partner) founder Antonio Sapio, has put a lot of thought into the tournament structure, and they’ve proven to have knocked it out of the park. All players are guaranteed to get great value out of their buck (or should we say quids?), and with four different starting-day flights to choose from, players can choose the flight that suits them best, so that they can participate in all the other exciting tournaments going on.

One of the most interesting side events is the £150 Mini Main Event. The number of entries this tournament has attracted during all four events has been astonishing, and it’s an educated guess that this time will be no different. The first two out of a total of five starting-day flights will kick off the whole festival on December 15. Day 2 will be played on December 17, and those who survive the marathon flight will bag their chips for Day 3 (i.e., the final day) on December 18.

In terms of Mixed Games events, poker.pro has been blessed with the opportunity to host several self-branded events throughout the tour. Out of the three successful tournaments during the Birmingham stop, two will return to the UK capital, more precisely, the £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E. and the £60 poker.pro Sviten Special, while the £60 poker.pro Sunday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty is a new addition to the mixed game schedule. From what we’ve been able to find, the PL H.O.R.S.E. tournament in Glasgow was the first time ever the popular discipline was played in pot-limit, something that’s turned out to be a success, as it somewhat affects the strategy and gameplay from your ordinary H.O.R.S.E. game.

The Sviten event made its debut in Birmingham. Being a Swede, Sviten has a special game in this journalist’s heart. The five-card draw and PLO Frankenstein game was founded in the Scandinavian jewel that is Stockholm, and it’s becoming more and more popular on the European poker scene. The UK player seems to enjoy Mixed Games a lot, and Sviten is, at least in my opinion, the best one out of the countless number of poker games.

What’s more, the PLO Masters is continuing its collaboration with PartyPoker, and they’ll host four different tournaments during the London event. UK poker legend JJ Hazan is the mastermind behind the PLO Masters, and he’s really come up with a great concept. The £250 PLO Masters Main Event has its first starting-day flight on December 19, and there’ll be three more before a winner will be crowned at the end of Day 2 on December 21.

The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London December Edition is destined to close out what has been a live poker tour to be remembered for ages. There’s no reason to be sad that there won’t be any more PartyPoker events this year, though, as the tour has big plans for 2026. While nothing is disclosed yet, there’s no surprise PartyPoker isn’t hitting any breaks, but instead putting the pedal to the metal. It’s astonishing how much they’ve managed to accomplish in just one year – scoring more than 10,000 entries and distributing over £1,000,000 across the UK – and everything points to the tour continuing to grow bigger and better in 2026.
