Even though there are still three months left of 2025, it can already be established that the 2025 PartyPoker Tour has been a roaring success. PartyPoker returned to the live poker scene this year, and after three successful events in London, Manchester, and Glasgow, the fourth stop is only a day away. October 11-19, Resorts World Birmingham will be the place to be, as nine days of bamboozling live poker action await. There is some interesting news for the upcoming event, one of the most exciting ones being that the high-quality live stream (that debuted during the London event) will return, offering all players and spectators a sublime opportunity to follow the action.

TV Table, Pub Quiz, Player’s Party, and More

Getnet Kassa, Deniz Orhan, Zhen Zhen. These are the names of the £500 Main Event winners from the first three 2025 PartyPoker Tour stops in the United Kingdom. After October 19, there will be yet another name joining the trio in the PartyPoker Hall of Fame. While the Main Event has to be classified as the most intriguing tournament of the event, there’s a lot more juicy affairs on the schedule, such as the £150 Mini Main Event, the various PLO Masters Events, and three poker.pro-branded Mixed Games.

For every event this year, PartyPoker has only improved and gotten bigger and better; hats off to Antonio Sapio (founder/CEO of VibeLive, the event company that operates the PartyPoker Tour) and all other staff who’ve managed to create a stellar series that re-shaped the UK live poker landscape. The upcoming stop in Birmingham will be no exception. In terms of scheduling, players can expect recurring tournaments such as the Main Event, the Mini Main Event, the £60 Tennessee Hold ‘Em, and the £150 Faded Spade to return, but also some newer events, such as the various PLO Masters tournaments (which debuted in Glasgow), and the aforementioned three poker.pro-branded events (where the £100 poker.pro R.O.S.E.T. will be groundbreaking).

The PartyPoker Tour stops are so much more than just a bunch of poker tournaments, though. The tour aims to be an absolute fiesta for all visitors, and this is partly achieved by arranging various side activities. For example, Birmingham will introduce casino, roulette, and sports betting tournaments, something that’s guaranteed to stir the pot. There’ll also be a players’ party; the organizers have printed a total of 1,300 drinking tickets, so it’s safe to say there’ll be some good vibes at Resorts World. There’ll also be a pub quiz, which is yet another interesting little twist.

Perhaps the biggest news is that the live stream is returning. During the first event of 2025, which was played at Genting Casino Stratford (formerly known as Aspers) back in April, spectators could tune into the PartyPoker and/or poker.pro YouTube channels and enjoy the broadcast of the Main Event. With a 30-minute delay, they could witness Getnet Kassa defeating the legendary Will Kassouf heads-up and claim the £38,408 first-place prize.

There were limited opportunities for a live stream during the Manchester and Glasgow events, but now, the TV crew will return with all their equipment to Birmingham, ready to cover the Micro-influencers Sit N’ Go, the final table of the Mini Main Event, and the three final days of the Main Event. The two very prominent poker players that are Guy Taylor and Ben Shannon will be doing the commentating; without a doubt, this will enhance the PartyPoker Tour experience even further.

One must admire PartyPoker’s strive to evolve and improve constantly. As previously stated, every event has just gotten better and better, and without a doubt, the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham Stop is aiming to raise the bar even further. It’s going to be a festival for the ages, and the wait is unbearable.
