Seville’s Stunning Scenery: What to do Away from the Tables During the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville

2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville

The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville is only a few days away, and the preparations have already started at Casino Admiral Seville. It’s going to be a highlight of the 2026 poker calendar on Spanish soil, and with a €500 Main Event featuring a €100,000 guarantee, there’ll be a lot to play for.

While the poker action is, obviously, going to be the main thing during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville, the picturesque city has beautiful scenery, and there are several landmarks, activities, and other leisure activities that players definitely should try to find time for when not playing. The poker.pro journalist Christoffer Karlén has some very important information to share regarding the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville, and he’s also found some intriguing activities for the players to enjoy in between sessions.

Poker in Paradise

After the 2025 Party Poker Tour, which was held solely in the UK, PartyPoker kicked off its 2026 campaign with a January stop in Sheffield. Now, the tour will expand outside of the UK, seeing as it’s soon time to hit Spanish soil. The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville will be played March 16-22 at Casino Admiral Seville, and it will see the legendary poker brand make a much-anticipated return to the sunny country. The last time PartyPoker held a live event in Spain was in June 2022, when PartyPoker MILLIONS Europe took over Casino Barcelona. That festival was part of the PartyPoker LIVE series, so this is the first-ever Spanish stop of the PartyPoker Tour!

Before we get into the best things to do in Seville when not playing poker, there is some crucial information regarding the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville that all players should know.

First of all, the players won’t be able to buy into the tournaments using credit cards. Cash is the way to go. That being said, players will be able to withdraw euros from the ATM’s at the casino.

On the same topic: players can’t use their PartyPoker account balance to buy in to events at the casino. Any tickets you have in your account are fine to use in the casino, but if you want to use Party dollars, you can buy into the holding tank for the event online before you fly out. All of this is due to Spanish regulation.

Then, of course, there is the €0.01 poker.pro PPT Centroll this Saturday, March 14, at 14:00. Available on PartyPoker Spain, players can enter this virtually free-to-enter tournament and compete for €150 Mini Main Event tickets. There are 17 tickets in the pot, making this the best way for players to secure their Mini Main Event venture for the cheapest prize possible.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at what players can do in Seville when not competing at the felted tables. First and foremost, Casino Admiral is located roughly two kilometers away from the Guadalquivir River. Walking across the river offers a scenic route that can act therapeutically after a bad beat, and if the weather is nice, it will surely be a nice way to see more of the city. This poker.pro live journalist might even try to squeeze in some runs alongside the river, in order to keep the head fresh.

In terms of landmarks, a must-see is the Royal Palace of Alcázar. Originally built by Moorish rulers in the tenth century, the palace became a royal residence for Spanish kings in 1248, after the Christian reconquest. More recently, it has received a lot of attention after being a Game of Thrones filming location. Albeit somewhat further away from Casino Admiral and the heart of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville, it’ll definitely be worth a short trip on the bus. Other Seville landmarks that should be on all poker players’ bucket lists are the Giralda tower (climb the tower to get the undisputed best view of the city), the Plaza de España (arguably the most photogenic spot of Seville), and the Seville Cathedral, containing the tomb of none other than Christopher Columbus.

Another activity to really capture the essence of Spain could be some tapas bar hopping. The Spanish cuisine includes delicacies such as Jamón Ibérico, Espinacas Con Garbanzos, Croquetas, and more. A good place for this culinary adventure would be the Triana neighbourhood. Known for its ceramics, lively market, and vibrant flamenco scene, Triana is just across the Guadalquivir River from the casino.

Speaking of flamenco, catching a show is a must. Seville is one of the spiritual homes of the UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage, and all spectators of a flamenco show are guaranteed a passionate, rhythmic, and intense experience.

Last but not least, the most stunning way to wrap up one’s night would be to watch the sunset from Las Setas. It’s a modern, wooden, mushroom-shaped structure with a rooftop walkway that offers an unparalleled view. Ending the day here with loved ones after a long day at the casino would be the cherry on top.

Considering the distance between Canada and Spain, PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty flew out to Seville a few days before the commencement of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville. They’re already in “La Ciudad del Sol” (a playful nickname of Seville referencing its hot, sunny climate), and this poker.pro journalist asked them what they think about the city so far. It’s safe to say they’re enjoying themselves, and both of them being big readers, the most memorable moment of their trip so far has been something simple, such as sitting in the local park, sipping on a coffee while enjoying a good book.

Perhaps Staples and/or Hardisty will find a deep run in the €150 Mini Main Event or the €500 Main Event next week, when cards are in the air for the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville. Maybe they’ll have even more fond memories of this Spain trip, then. One thing’s for sure, though; Seville is destined to be a slam-dunk of a stop on the tour, mixing immense poker action with utterly beautiful scenery in one of the prettiest cities in Spain, maybe even in the world. Next week will be an adventure to remember for all visitors, not only in terms of poker, but also in terms of experiencing the mesmerizing city of Seville.
