The first Pure Poker Tour (PPT) series of 2026 is now in the books, and it was a big one. More than $1 million in prizes was awarded across the 11 days of poker action, with more than 2,000 entries recorded.
The final weekend of action saw three trophies up for grabs, including the biggest one of the bunch, the Main Event spires. Two more one-day NLH games also played out on Saturday and Sunday night, to complete the 17 events on the schedule.
Along with the individual trophies, the Player of the Series race was playing out, and it came down to the very wire. Coming into the final day of the Main Event, everyone at the table would take the title with the trophy, but several players had a shot at Player of the Year without needing the outright win.
Deven Lane, Stefan Maloney, and Cam Stewart all had points in the race already coming into the final table, so any one of them could take down PoS with a runner-up finish, capping the eventual winner (assuming that winner wasn’t another of those players). In the end, Cam Stewart made sure of the deal, winning the game outright for a clear win in Player of the Series as well.

Cam Stewart Chases Away a Monkey with the Main Event Win

Event #15: $1,100 NLH Main Event Day 2 ($990 + $110)
- Entries: 329
- Prizes: $309,425
- Winner: Cam Stewart ($64,555)
In 2025, Cam Stewart got heads up here on the Pure Poker Tour 4 times, but each time he had to settle for second-best. This year, he came into the opening series with just as much momentum, scoring an early cash before he found himself heads-up once more, this time against Paul Shakir in the PLO Big Bounty.
Shakir also had something to prove in that one, as he too was in the hunt for his first-ever live win. It was a battle between the two, one that Shakir eventually won by pipping Stewart with a king-high straight. Unfortunately for Stewart, that left him looking at his fifth bridesmaid finish in a row.
He hit the Main Event with a vengeance on Friday, running his Day 1a stack up to the second biggest by the end of the marathon flight. Only Josh Wallace bagged more from the opening flight, and after both starting days, Stewart was 4th in chips for Day 2.
That still left a lot of work to be done, however, with 41 players returning. Stewart held on through the day, spending most of the final table battling start-of-day leader Nu Teliani and runner-up Travis Darroch for the chip lead.
Stewart also had a couple of contenders for the Player of the Series title to battle on the final day. Deven Lane fell just before the final table, and Stefan Maloney, who could steal the PoS with a finish of second or better, and ahead of Stewart. When Maloney fell in 7th, it was Stewart’s to take. All he needed was second-place or better to secure the title.
In the end, after Nadeen Narayan went home at the hands of Darroch, Stewart was heads-up once again, with the chip lead, and the PoS title guaranteed. All that remained for Stewart was that first elusive win.
He and Darroch battle for about half an hour, switching up the chip lead a few times. It finally came down to competing flush draws after both players flopped clubs. The money went in with Stewart holding a small chip lead, and holding the best of it with the nut club draw and backdoor Broadway. Darroch was far from dead, however. While his flush draw was no good, he was on the backdoor straight flush draw with the deuce-trey-four of clubs.
The turn was a king that improved Stewart’s Broadway draw to a front-door gutshot while the ace on the river confirmed the win for him. Darroch pocketed $44.5k for second, while Stewart won $64,555 for the Main Event Win, plus an extra $2,500 in cash and PPT swag for Player of the Series.

Mehmet Siginc Wins 4th Chance NLH for Fourth Cash of the Series

Event #16: $340 NLH 4th Chance ($300 + $40)
- Entries: 52
- Prizes: $14,820
- Winner: Mehmet Siginc ($5,195 after HU Deal)
With the huge Day 1b flight in the Main Event, the Saturday night 4th Chance game got a smaller than expected turnout. Mehmet Siginc dominated the game, sending all but one of the money players to the cage.
Haven Taylor was the one to send Jarret Gray home in 4th place, but otherwise it was all Siginc. He got heads up against Garry Spence with a 5.5:1 chip lead, and the final two decided to chop the money. Siginc took the win and an adjusted payout of $5,195, while Spence pocketed $4k for second place with the short stack.

Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow Wins Final Trophy of PPT #1

Event #17: $340 NLH Last Chance ($300 + $40)
- Entries: 146
- Prizes: $41,610
- Winner: Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow ($11,030)
The final trophy of the opening PPT series of 2026 played out on Sunday, alongside Day 2 of the Main Event. As this game ended before the Main Event, it didn’t get a lot of direct coverage, but poker YouTuber Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow, whose motto is “Making Poker Fun, For Everyone”, took down the final trophy.
He defeated Deven Lane heads up. For his part, Lane was grabbing his fifth cash of the series, and second of the day, as he jumped into this one late after scoring 13th place in the Main Event.
It was a solid turnout for the final event, with the biggest one-day field of the series at 146 entries. The only bigger field numbers from this series came in the flights to Event #3 and the Main Event.
