Gordon Wong Crushes the Day 1b Field; Team Daryl Roberts/Bradley Stevens Take Down the Tag Team

An action-packed Day 1b was underway as the final opportunity for players to find a bag into Day 2. The day saw 193 entrants to bring the total entries to 293. This created a prize pool of $275,567 with $58,857 heading to the eventual winner. Day 1b saw the runaway chip leader in Gordon Wong as he bagged 867,000.

Gordon Wong Dominates the Day 1b Field; Alemu Makonen Finds a Big Stack

Gordon was the clear winner of both days of play having bagged the largest stack with 867,000. He far exceeds the nearest player, that being Brett Worton from Day 1a with 550,000. Van Le rounds out the podium with 473,000 in his stack. Wong gained an early chip lead with just over 250,000 at the dinner break. He remained near the chip lead continuing to add to his stack.

With 32 left, he held nearly double the next closest player with over 600,000 in play. By the final break, Wong held 841,000, over double that of the next closest, Van Le. From there, he continued his success to bag the overwhelming chip lead. Below are all bagged stacks from Day 1b.
