Jan Rofuli showed patience, discipline, and well-timed aggression on his way to winning Event #3: $670 NLH for $27,280. The day began with 23 players returning from a field of 202 entries for a total prize pool of $115,140. Rofuli sat right in the middle of the pack with 178,000. He didn’t force anything early, picking his spots and staying out of trouble until the tournament opened up in his favour.
By the second break, Rofuli had climbed into the top three. Once he reached the final table, he immediately made noise by knocking out Nu Teliani with top-pair-and-a-flush-draw and never really lost momentum after that. A hero call against Antonio Ma vaulted him near a million chips, and he carried that confidence into the final stretch.
The pace picked up fast. Rofuli kept finding the right hands in the right moments, picking up another knockout with ace-king, then navigating a tricky spot with pocket tens three-handed to claim more chips. Moments later, he ended Kim Graham’s run find pocket jacks to take a big lead into heads-up play.

Ma battled back and made things interesting, even putting Rofuli in the tank a few times, but that pressure didn’t last. Rofuli shifted gears, began firing big river bets, and eventually turned a straight in a massive pot that left Ma drawing dead before the river. It sealed a well-earned win for a player who admitted he doesn’t have a ton of tournament experience, but played like someone who very much does.

Kris Steinbach Eviscerates the Field to Win Event #6: $560 NLH Big Bounty

Kris Steinbach showed up to the Big Bounty on a mission and absolutely tore through the field to win Event #6: $560 NLH Big Bounty for $9,207. The event drew 123 entries and built a prize pool of $58,425, split between standard payouts and a hefty $24,600 bounty pool
Steinbach jumped in after busting the $670 NLH earlier in the day and immediately started snowballing. Within a few levels he was accumulating bounties at an absurd pace. By the time the field hit 13 players, he had one-third of the chips in play.
When the final table began, Steinbach bagged 1,200,000 and never looked back. He scored five of the six eliminations leading up to three-handed play, holding over eighty percent of the chips in the tournament. At that point, Mike Malm and Welly Meach agreed to chop second and third place, leaving the trophy and one final bounty for Steinbach, who wrapped up another dominant performance in a week full of them.
