There was four-card and two-card action on the Pure Poker Tour on Thursday. The main game was the $450 PLO, and 84 entries swelled that prize pool to $31,920 in total.
Meanwhile, later in the day, the $280 NLH Bounty hit the felt for some two-card bounty action. That game got 143 entries for a combined prize pool of $33,963.
Jerry Li Bags Another Four-Card Win

The Main Game on Thursday was the $450 PLO with a 30k starting stack and 30-minute blinds. By the time the entries closed at the start of Level 9, there were 84 entries for a prize pool of $31,920.
Nearly 1/3rd of that prize pool was sitting up top for first place, and it was four-card specialist Jerry Li who was the player with all the chips. He’s no stranger to PLO success, having already bagged two PLO Circuit rings in Calgary, as well as a bracelet in PLO down in Vegas in 2022.
On Thursday, here at Pure Casino Edmonton, Li powered his way through the field to take down his first PPT Trophy. While he started off the day slowly, once entries closed, he ramped it up and took over the chip lead as they approached the money.
Between Li and 3rd-place finisher Bobby Rutledge, they were responsible for all the busts at the final table. Then Li sent Rutledge home in 3rd after he got there with a gutshot to crack the flopped set of aces for Rutledge.
That set up heads up play with Luteng Li, but they barely had a chance to get going. On the very first HU hand, the money went in with Luteng holding double-suited Broadway cards, while Jerry had one suit wrapped with eight-nine-ten.
The flop gave some hope to Luteng, hitting the bottom end of his Broadway draws, but Jerry smashed it, flopping the straight to the ten with top pair as backup. The turn card gave him a bit of a sweat as it put Luteng open-ended to a bigger straight, but the river bricked hard, and Jerry Li was shipped all the chips. This was Li’s 10th live win, according to Hendon Mob.

Mike Aloneissi Chops for the Win in Event #13: $280 NLH Bounty

The $280 Bounty was a pretty quick affair on Thursday night, and, in the end, the final three players agreed to an even chop as the blinds were growing. They all guaranteed themselves $5,066, then ran a three-way flip for the trophy.
Mike Aloneissi woke up with pocket fives in the flip hand and took it all down after it became a set on the board. Along the way to the final hand, Aloneissi took out two players, as did runner-up Tyler Bourassa, with Curtis Lomanski and Krisen Ramchana also accounting for some busts in the endgame.
