The $150 Tag Team event saw a lightning-fast conclusion on Saturday, as Team Shabab and Maksym rode a final-table heater to claim the title, the trophy, and $3,040 in prize money. The event drew 41 entries for a $7,790 prize pool and paid the top five finishers.
After flying under the radar for most of the tournament, Shabab and Maksym surged when it mattered most. They won a pivotal flip against Team Rob and Brent to take the lead and never looked back. Aces held up in a final hand against Team Bash and Pav’s king-two shove, and just like that, their first PPT trophy was locked up.
