Monday and Tuesday on the Pure Poker Tour saw three games finish for trophies. The big game in recent days was the 6-Max, which saw 75 entries for total prizes of $49,875. The two-day game played down to the money spots on Monday night, then finished out the final nine players on Tuesday’s Day 2.
Alongside the opening day of play in the 6-Max, a small NLH ran for the side game. It was the cheapest game on the 2025 PPT #4 schedule, and saw 85 entries for $16,150 in prizes.
The following day, on Tuesday, while the 6-Max was deciding the money spots, the side game was the $340 PLO Bounty with $100 bounties. 93 entries showed up for that one, combining for prizes of $26,505 ($17,205 prizes, $9,300 bounties).
Nu Teliani Bags 6-Max Title

- Event #7: $780 NLH 6-Max
- Entries: 75
- Prizes: $49,875
- Winner: Nu Teliani ($15,965)
The 6-Max is a game where the cream almost always rises to the top, and this series was no different. The 75 entries for the game read like a Who’s Who of the local poker scene, with the final table including Skyler York, Deven Lane, Lee Clark, Tony Ma, Cameron Stewart, and Ali Razzaq.
Nu Teliani led the charge through the game, bagging the big stack at the end of Day 1, and holding that through most of Day 2 as well. Once they got short-handed at the final table, the lead moved around a bit more, but Teliani was in control through much of the game.
They played 4-handed at the final table for nearly 3 hours with Teliani, York, Lane, and Clark battling for the win. With no easy spots at the table, the short stacks weren’t getting their chips in light, and none of the big stacks were calling off light.
Once the 4-handed logjam broke with the exit of Clark in 4th place, the rest of the night went pretty quickly, with the trophy ceremony about half an hour after Clark’s demise. Teliani and York were pretty even to start heads up, and after a few small pots, the money went in on the turn of a king high paired board.
Teliani had flopped the king with king-queen, against pocket sixes for York, who called it off with only the king on board as an overcard to his pair. The river gave Teliani two pair and the win, her 18th win on the live felt. She started the game with more than $600k (USD) in Hendon earnings, and this win adds another ~$10k or so to her total.

Bernice McLennan Wins Little NLH for $4,565

- Event #8: $230 NLH
- Entries: 85
- Prizes: $16,150
- Winner: Bernice McLennan ($4,565)
While the opening day of the 6-Max was underway, small-stakes players were across the room battling it out for the lowest buy-in trophy game of the series. There were 85 entries for the $230 NLH, for prizes of $16,150
It was a pretty crazy endgame in this one, with lots of action driven by second-place player Adam Bishop, as well as sixth-place Antonio Defrose. Both players were making big bets and playing a significant number of hands.
Defrose was the chip leader to start the final table, but saw his stack dwindle through the early phases before he ended his day in 6th place.
When they got down to three, the biggest cooler in poker sent Hugh Armstrong out in 3rd place. The board read 4♠5♠6♠7♦7♠ and Armstrong and winner Bernice McLennan got into a raising war on the river. When she finally came over the top with a four-bet all-in, Armstrong looked across the table incredulously, asking, “Is this really how I go out here?”
He called and tabled pocket sevens for rivered quads, but as he suspected, McLennan rolled over king-three with the 3♠ for the low end of the straight flush.

Once they got heads-up, the game went pretty quickly, with runner-up Adam Bishop driving the action with big bets in nearly every hand. In the final confrontation, McLennan turned a flush while Bishop turned two pair, and the money went in. Bishop bricked the river boat and had to settle for second.
The final two agreed to a deal where they each guaranteed themselves $4k, with an extra $565 on the table to play for, which McLennan picked up for the win.

It took nearly 12 hours to play through the 93 entries in the PLO Bounty game, and in the end, it was Anthony Madden and Frank Urbanovich still alive.
The final two cut a deal that saw Madden give up about $300 from the first-place money, added to Urbanovish’s second place, and Madden took the official win.
The final two had to navigate a pretty stacked final table that included some of the top local PLO talent, including Leo Zhang, Zeyu Huang, John Phan, Justin Pennell, and Ryan & Tony Comely.
