In just a few short years, the Vamos Poker Tour has established itself as one of Europe’s most traveled and steadily growing live poker circuits. What started as a modest debut has evolved into a tour that now spans multiple countries and attracts players from well beyond the continent.
The tour’s first-ever event took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2022, as part of a 2023 season that consisted of three stops. Since then, Vamos Poker Tour has grown steadily year after year, both in size and ambition. True to its motto of traveling around Europe and playing poker, VPT has delivered exactly that.
Last season alone featured eight festival stops across the continent, taking players from Italy to Romania, Spain, the UK, Portugal, and Bulgaria, before wrapping up with a grand finale in Cyprus. Along the way, the tour’s winner’s circle has become one of the most colorful on the live poker scene, with international flavor becoming a kind of trait of the tour. It’s no coincidence as Vamos rewarded loyalty and players who traveled to multiple stops across Europe with a special race for the VPT sponsorship deals.
The same philosophy continues into 2026, with seven out of eight stops already confirmed. Throughout the season, we at poker.pro will be following the action closely and providing post-festival updates from each stop. If the grand finale that wrapped up last month at the prestigious Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino is anything to go by, another exciting year lies ahead for Vamos Poker Tour.

After a season-long battle, Emmanouil Chalkiotis emerged as the most consistent player of 2025. The Greek recorded 19 cashes across seven different stops and captured four trophies in four different countries, narrowly missing out on a fifth title with a runner-up finish in Portugal’s The Saver event.
Spanish duo Francisco Penalva Rivas and Javier Dopazo finished second and third in the standings and didn’t leave Cyprus empty-handed. While they fell short of the top spot, both were rewarded with VPT Team Pro sponsorships and WPT packages valued at €6,000 and €3,500, respectively.
