One of this year’s live poker calendar highlights is just a few weeks away. The 2025 WSOPC Tallinn deserves all its hype; poker players from all over the world are expected to travel to the Estonian capital and compete for prestigious WSOPC rings. With no fewer than 12 ring events – including a €1,500 Main Event with a €1,000,000 guarantee – there sure is a lot to play for.
Let’s break down the schedule for this behemoth of a live poker event and see what’s new in store compared to the 2024 edition.
Tale of the Twelve Rings
From July 25 to August 3, the 2025 WSOPC Tallinn will be played at the luxurious Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. It’s the third consecutive year the WSOPC visits the venue, and just like a fine wine, the event has become better every year. The 2025 edition will certainly not disappoint; the tournament schedule is filled to the brim with everything from traditional Texas NLH tournaments to more niche mixed games, and the organizers, with tournament director Teresa Nousainen steering the ship, have included something for every player. Needless to say, a couple of events stand out.

The €1,500 Main Event is, naturally, the star of the show. The guarantee is set to a ludicrous 1,000,000; not only will all players compete for the biggest slice of the prize pool cake, but also a coveted WSOPC ring, one of the most attractive accessories to win in a poker tournament. Last year, the Main Event scored 1,130 entries. This surpassed the guarantee as the total prize pool was €1,052,352. Lithuanian Aurimas Stanevičius claimed the title, the ring, and a €167,600 first-place payout after he had made a deal with Norwegian Espen Sandvik heads-up. Let’s assume Stanevičius will be back this year and try to defend his title.
However, winning the WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event isn’t the only way to win a ring with 12 different events on the line this summer. One of the most popular ring events in 2024 was the €555 NLH; this seemed to be a preferred buy-in by many, as the tournament registered 867 entries. The charismatic Phil Gross walked away with the ring and €55,210 after he came out on top; time will tell who wins this year’s edition, but one thing’s for sure: there are multiple chances at snagging a ring and joining the company of previous ring winners.

But Wait, There’s More
Aside from the ring events, many more exciting tournaments are on the schedule. A new little nugget compared to previous years is the €750 Progressive and Mystery Bounty. This is truly a unique tournament; €240 goes into the ordinary prize pool, €200 goes into progressive bounties, and €230 will be dedicated to the mystery envelopes, which will be introduced when players are in the money. This one-day event is sure to be a very intriguing one.
Nousainen and her crew created the tournament schedule with all-mixed-game lovers in mind. PLO4/5, Sviten, H.O.R.S.E, and Deuce to Seven Triple Draw are all featured games, alongside a couple more disciplines.
