Yesterday, November 14, the 2025 WSOP Circuit Nottingham kicked off at the legendary Dusk till Dawn. The prestigious event will conclude with the final day of the £1,350 Main event on November 24. While that may be the main course, no fewer than 12 coveted WSOP Circuit rings will be awarded during the 11-day festival.
The tournament schedule for the first day featured the first two starting-day flights of the £270 Mini Main Event, and combined, Day 1a and 1b scored impressive numbers; it’s safe to say the festival is off to a stellar start. What’s more, the first edition of the £60 Daily Deepstack ended with a three-way deal, and a couple of Main Event seats were distributed through the £60 Satellite.

The £270 Mini Main Event is destined to be one of the biggest tournaments during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Nottingham. There are a total of four starting-day flights, and each flight plays down to 15% of the field. These lucky contestants will then bag their chips and return to Day 2 (November 16, 13:00), and, with that, be guaranteed a min-cash.

Day 1a commenced at 12:00, and with that, the 2025 WSOP Circuit Nottingham was officially up and running. The tournament attracted 191 entries, and a fair amount was contributed towards the £150,000 guarantee. Time went on, and the first flight eventually finished at Level 16, which featured Blinds 6,000/12,000 (and a 12,000 Ante). 29 players bagged their chips from Day 1a, and it was Daniel Goodman who performed the best, as he secured his Day 2 advancement with an 860,000 stack.

The £60 Daily Deepstack will run multiple times during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Nottingham. Albeit not awarding a ring to the winner, this side event is predicted to be an appreciated feat by all players during the festival. In yesterday’s edition, 17 places were paid, and up top was a £1,928 prize, which, naturally, was the biggest slice of the overall £7,800 prize pool. The tournament concluded with three players making a deal; while Scott Waine (who ultimately finished second) secured the biggest paycheck, Gary Morgan was deemed the winner.

As previously mentioned, there are 12 Ring Events on the schedule. As has been the case with all WSOP Circuits this year, the winner of each Ring Event will, apart from the ring, be awarded a $5,000 package to the 2025 WSOP Paradise. The package includes six nights’ stay at the Coral Towers between December 3-9, a buy-in for the $2,750 Mystery Bounty (which holds a staggering $5,000,000 guarantee), and access to the players’ buffet. The 2025 WSOP Paradise will be played in the Bahamas (Atlantis Bahamas Casino) between December 4-18.
