Some games old, some games new, what new events will YOU do?
The schedule for the biggest party in poker was released last week, detailing 100 live bracelets up for grabs at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas during the six weeks of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). While most of the iconic events like the Main Event, the Poker Players Championship, the Dealers Choice, and all the Championship games are returning to the 2026 schedule, there are also a few new games on the roster this year.
While the annual schedule for the summer WSOP is usually pretty similar from year to year, equally, there are always a few new ideas in the mix. 2026 is no exception, with the novelty kicking off as soon as the series gets underway.

2026 gets off to a novel start in Las Vegas this summer, with the opening event being a brand new entry for this year. The Mini Mystery Millions is a small-stakes bracelet played in the Mystery Bounty format.
For $550, players get 25k to start for 30-minute levels during Day 1 action, with blinds jumping to 40 minutes on Day 2. Entries are open for 10 levels on Day 1, and players can rebuy up to twice during each flight. When the mystery bounties kick in, the biggest bounty envelope is guaranteed to contain a cool million dollars.
The mystery bounty format has seen a lot of interest in the last few years since it was introduced, and this opening event looks like a great way to kick off the 2026 series with big opening numbers.

After decades under the control of Caesars Entertainment, August of 2024 saw a major shakeup in the live poker landscape when Caesars sold the WSOP to NSUS Group (owner of GGPoker). The marks of that new branding started to show up in 2025, but the brand is going all in on 2026 with a new prestige bracelet on the schedule
Event #11 is a $10k High Roller honouring the classic online game, the GGMillion$. Players have two starting flights, on May 31 & June 1, to bag a stack for the money play in this one, and they can fire as many $10k bullets as they like for the opening 12 levels of Day 1 play.

Summer Circuit Series

While the summer in Vegas is usually about bracelets, this summer will give significant nods to the rings awarded on the WSOP’s daughter series, WSOP Circuit. With series awarding rings played around the world throughout the year, the Circuit is an excellent way for players to whet their WSOP appetite close to home.
To close the series, WSOP will be hosting a Circuit event from July 14 through July 25. As is typical for a Circuit series, there will be 18 rings up for grabs over the 12 days of poker action — get a look at the options on the full schedule from WSOP.com.
During the series proper, however, players can win a rare Circuit bracelet in Event #16. Building on the success of WSOP Paradise, the Circuit Championship plays Day 1 on June 2, and players can fire a couple of bullets if their initial buy-in is unsuccessful.
New PLO Action for 2026
Event #53 Five Card Pot-Limit Omaha (3-Day event)

If four cards aren’t enough for you, Event #53 will offer a new bracelet in 5-card PLO. Starting June 18, the game has one opening day and is scheduled to award the bracelet on the 3rd day of play.
Event #91 “Pick Your PLO” (3-Day event)

Do you fancy yourself an expert in PLO? Put your skills on the line against some of the best in the world near the end of the series in the new Pick Your PLO event on July 9. Played in the Dealers’ Choice format, players pick from four different variations of the pot-limit Omaha format — PLO, PLO8, Five-Card PLO (High), and Big O.
In both games, players get 25k for their $1,500, and they can fire a total of 3 bullets maximum, including the initial buy-in. Entries are open for 9 levels, and blinds will be 40 minutes on Day 1 & 60 minutes on the remaining days.
