The World Series of Poker is heading back to the Bahamas this December, as Atlantis Paradise Island gets set to host the third edition of WSOP Paradise from December 4 to 18, 2025. Players will once again be chasing 15 bracelets in one of poker’s most scenic destinations, and this year the numbers are bigger than ever.
The centerpiece of the festival is the Super Main Event Championship, a $25,000 buy-in with a jaw-dropping $60,000,000 guarantee. That figure is $10 million higher than last year’s record-setting $50M guarantee, proving WSOP isn’t slowing down despite the risks of massive overlays.
Last year, the gamble came close to backfiring. The 2024 Super Main Event fell $1.5 million short of its guarantee, but still produced one of the most memorable victories in recent memory. China’s Yinan Zhou, just 24 years old, turned heads with fearless play at the final table, bluffing Michael Addamo in a huge spot and knocking out his poker idol Justin Bonomo on the way to the title. Zhou’s win earned him $6,000,000, his first bracelet, and the distinction of being the inaugural WSOP Paradise Super Main Event champion.

That stage only gets bigger this year. If the $60M is hit, it will mark the largest guarantee ever awarded in poker history.
A Packed Festival Lineup
While the Super Main Event steals the spotlight, the rest of the schedule is stacked with high-stakes and unique formats. The action kicks off on December 4 with the $2,500 Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty featuring a $5M guarantee, alongside Triton’s $75K PLO 6-Handed. Triton dominates the early week with a string of elite buy-ins, including the $100K Triton PLO Main Event, $150K 8-Handed, and $250K Invitational.
Mid-stakes grinders will circle the $5,000 Super Colossus NLH and $10,000 Super Plossus PLO, while mixed-game fans get their chance in the $10K 8-Game Mix 6-Handed. The festival closes with the always-popular GGMillion$ ($25K buy-in, $10M GTD) and The Closer, a $10K Turbo Bounty to wrap things up on December 16.
Satellites and Online Paths
For players dreaming of a $25K Super Main Event seat without breaking the bankroll, GGPoker has stepped up once again. Weekly satellites are running with $30K packages guaranteed every Sunday, covering buy-in, travel, and accommodations.
In addition, every WSOP Circuit ring winner until December 2 will also be awarded a $5,000 package that includes accommodation and a $2,500 ticket for the Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty, creating even more opportunities for players to reach Paradise.
That means qualifiers from around the globe will have a real shot at turning a small online investment — or a big live victory — into life-changing money. Last year, Brazil’s Marcelo Aziz did just that — he satellited in online and rode the freeroll all the way to the $4.6M runner-up payday. Stories like that are exactly why tickets to the Super Main Event will be some of the most sought-after seats of 2025.

What’s at Stake
With 15 bracelets on the line, Triton high rollers in the mix, and the largest guaranteed Main Event in poker history, WSOP Paradise 2025 looks set to push the limits once again. The numbers are ambitious, the setting is unmatched, and the poker world will be watching closely to see if the $60M mark is reached — or if we’ll see another dramatic overlay.
For now, all roads lead to Atlantis in December.
