Level: | 14 (2000/4000/4000) |
Entries: | 23/128 |
Prizes: | $36,480 |
The final tally for Day 1a of the Deepstack game was 128 entries. That put $36,480 into the prize pool from the opening day, and with the expectation of bigger days on 1b and 1c, it looks pretty safe to assume the prizes for this game will be well over $100k by the time entries close for good Saturday night.
With 128 entries, at least 13 players will be advancing to Day 2 from today’s action. If they play down to 13, just 10 eliminations from the current number, before the end of Level 16, they’ll bag up early; otherwise, whoever is still alive at the end of Level 13 will get a bag. Only 10% of the field will get paid, and players must put chips in a bag for Day 2 in order to qualify for a payout.
At most, there are about 90 minutes left in tonight’s action, but they may well bag up early. The average stack is still a bit more than 30 big blinds, so they are fairly deep, and it could easily go the distance, but a few quick eliminations on coolers aren’t out of the question either.
