It’s time for the opening event of the 2026 WSOP-C Calgary Jan! Event #1 is the traditional opening game, the Big 30 Stack.
$400 gets a player 30k in chips, and levels will be 25 minutes long. The action gets going at 11 AM, with 10 levels of late entry. That will put the final entry chance at about 3:40 PM. This one-day event will then play down to a winner sometime late Wednesday night.
In October, Winnipeg’s Josh Molnar took down this ring over a field of 371 entries. That gave him the best share of more than $122k in prizes, facing down Jacob Parent for the two biggest prizes at the end of the night.
