The prizes are more than $330k after three flights of entry for the Mini Main Event. Day 1c didn’t quite maintain the hype of the opening two flights, coming in at about 80% of the size of last year’s 1c. That was still enough to keep the overall field on pace for a bigger game however, with 1,005 entries so far this series, and 1,002 at this point in January.
Day 1d will ultimately determine how big this event gets. With the smaller 1c in the books, my early estimate of 1,800+ might be a bit optimistic, but beating the 1,565 total from January still looks like a decent bet, depending on the turnout for tomorrow’s final flight.
