The final day of action in KKLive Montreal is just hours away, and there are 35 players set to do battle at Hotel Universel in Montreal starting at noon on Saturday. Players from across Canada have been battling in online Day 1 flights for the past two months, with 40 official qualifiers for Day 2 action.
However, only 35 players will be sitting down for action on Saturday’s Day 2, as there were 5 double-bags in the field. Those players will get a min-cash to start their day for their smaller stacks, then sit down to play for the big money with their big stack.
The five double-stacks have just shy of 500k between them, putting the average stack going into Day 2 at almost 207k. There is just over $83k to be won, though I will update the full prize pool just before cards go in the air on Saturday.
I should be on the floor from start to end for tomorrow’s action, and there’s more than JUST the Day 2 running. At 1 PM, the $2k freeroll kicks off for players who have completed the online challenge, but be aware that spots are limited to 70 entries on a first-come, first-served basis.
Freeroll registration starts at 11 am, so get there early to guarantee your pot. An hour after the freeroll begins, at 2 pm, the Side Event is running. It has a total of 388 entries for the 17 satellites, for prizes of nearly $16k, though the final number will depend on how many players with tickets actually play, since some may be running deep in the Main or Freeroll.
Get ready for a hot day of poker from Montreal on Saturday, with wall-to-wall coverage of KKLive Montreal 2025.
