While Day 2 of the £150 Mini Main Event is in full swing, the third and final poker.pro-branded Mixed Games event, the £100 poker.pro R.O.S.E.T., started about 20 minutes ago. The concept is created by poker.pro CEO Jason Glatzer and consists of a mix of the following five games:
- Razz (R).
- Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better (O).
- Sviten (S).
- Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better (E).
- Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw (T).
Being one of two poker.pro representatives on-site (together with Glenn Brown), this journalist held a small speech to those 13 players who had registered for the tournament before the first hand. I informed them that this is the first-ever event of this kind, and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter replied, “So whatever happens, I’ll be one of the 13 best R.O.S.E.T. players in the world!” The room shared a laugh.
