The 2026 Pure Poker Tour (PPT) is ready to roll, and the opening event of the season is set to start at noon on Thursday, Feb 26, when the Seniors sit down for the first trophy event. This game tends to be one of the biggest single-day fields in any series, so expect these numbers to cap 100.
Players get 25k for their $340 buy-in, with blind levels playing for 30 minutes. Players can enter or rebuy for the first 8 levels of play, which means the entry desk should shut down around 5 PM.
After that, this one-day event will play down to the first trophy of the year late on Thursday night. Alek Gillies will be on the floor to cover the opening day of play, while I take the opportunity to play some poker in this Seniors event.
