After playing an average stack during the most part of Day 2, PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples is now runnin’ hot. He won a big pot with aces against Big Slick, and from there on, it’s been the Staples show.
Dean Lyall recently opened to 25,000 UTG. The £150 Mini Main Event champion, Christian Watt, three-bet to 60,000. Action then folded to Staples, who requested a count on the Watt stack. After receiving the number, Staples forced both of his opponents to go all-in. Neither Lyall nor Watt was up for the task, and they both mucked.
