The 1a field is now ahead of the same flight from October’s Main Event, with 190 in the field. Among the players who pushed that over the top was DJ Sharma, who has just arrived for his first buy-in. Other familiar faces I’ve spotted in the crowd so far are Joon Park, Craig Caldwell, Tyler Panas, Patrick “Egption” Tardif, Michael Baldwin, Gaetano Buda, Dercon Noksana, Jeff “Ironman” Charlebois, and former Main Event champ Nicholas Teeuwen.
