After Alexey Shilov went out in fourth place, the three remaining players – Dimitrios Siantikos, Anastasios Vardalis, and Ippokratis Aslanoglou – decided to call it a night. They agreed to a deal; Siantikos and Aslanoglou shared the €5,000 that were still meant to be played for, while chipleader Vardalis was awarded with the trophy. All three players shook hands and seemed very pleased.
Not the ending we expected, but here we are. Such, Vardalis is crowned the champion of the €600 Main Event, and that concludes the 2025 Greek Poker Odyssea.
The poker.pro team would like to thank all players who’ve been enjoying these seven days in poker paradise, Regency Casino Thessaloniki for providing excellent service, all tournament staff and dealer who’s been working day and night to create an absolutely sublime event, and last but not least, Pokerland for assisting with photos and input on the Greek live poker scene for the poker.pro live blog.
