Perhaps 30 minutes into hand-by-hand play on the bubble, Algirdas Saveikis opened to 23,000 from the Button. The shortest stack in the tournament, Augustas Bareiša, then moved all in for 15,000 from the Small Blind. Mindaugas Autukevičius folded his Big Blind swiftly, and soon enough, the two contestants went to showdown.

Bareiša was in very good shape to double up his two Big Blind-stack, as the other players gathered around the table to witness the exciting runout. The audience let out a collective “Ooh,” as the dealer revealed the 778 flop. They followed it up with a “Whoah,” as the 6 fell on the turn. Bareiša was still alive, drawing to a higher straight or a full house, but the 6 didn’t see him seal the deal. As such, Bareiša became the unfortunate bubble boy, and the remaining 20 players are now all guaranteed a €1,220 min-cash.
