Maxim Bakoyan limped from the Cut-off. Florian Bock would have none of it and decided to raise to 5,500 from the Button. Action folded back to Bakoyan, who made the call.
After an initial check from Bakoyan on the 4♣K♥7♦ flop, Bock bet 5,500. Bakoyan threw in two 5,000 chips. The dealer started to collect the chips, but Bakoyan then claimed that his intention was to raise. It was deemed, however, that the amount he bet couldn’t be valid for a raise. Bakoyan respected the decision.
You’d think Bock would be scared that Bakoyan was aiming for the check-raise, but no. He continued for 12,000 on the J♦ after Bakoyan had checked to him. Bakoyan called, and the dealer revealed the 8♥ on the river. Bakoyan checked for a third time, and Bock now fired a 25,000 bet. Bakoyan sighed heavily before making the call.
Bock turned over A♣K♦ which was enough for Bakoyan to muck his hand.
Florian Bock: 146,000
Maxim Bakoyan: 58,500
