The tournament field got down to 80 entries, and hand-for-hand was about to commence, but there was still an ongoing situation over at Table 19.
Seated in the Lo-jack, Ralf Mikk min-raised to 12,000. Risto Pärnat decided to defend his Big Blind, and he was the sole caller.
Pärnat check-called a 10,000 continuation bet from Mikk on the Q♠4♠8♥ flop. The dealer revealed the 8♦ turn, and Pärnat now donk-bet 25,000. Mikk decided to make the call, and the 4♣ made its appearance on the river. Pärnat now decided to move all in; were Mikk to make the call, he would be the player at risk with his 78,000 stack. A small crowd of spectators gathered around the table, and after spending perhaps five minutes in the tank, Mikk eventually made the call.
Risto Pärnat: K♥8♣
Ralf Mikk: A♠7♠
Mikk had attempted a hero call, but much to his displeasure, Pärnat had the best hand by far with a full house. As such, Mikk became the unfortunate bubble boy; the remaining players cheered, as they’re now all guaranteed a €1,050 min-cash.
The poker.pro live coverage will now deep dive into the tournament and catch crucial hands, interesting moments, notable eliminations, and much more. Now, though, there is a 60-minute dinner break on the schedule. Assorted chip counts will follow soon.
