Anthony Casten opened to 160k early, and David Ko called the big blind after taking a look at Casten’s stack, which he said was around a million before the hand. The flop was 6♥4♠9♣ and Ko check-called for 200k.
Ko led out for 460k on the 5♠ turn, and Casten shoved. Ko quickly called with two pair on nine-five of hearts, but Casten was drawing to spades, and got there with the A♠ on the river for the double-up.
Mehdi Saeed is also still in this one, and he’s running on fumes, but not as far as his stack is concerned. He’s still sitting fine there, but he was up until 5 AM at the Freezeout final table last night, and is now going late tonight, with a flight back east at 7 AM in the morning. Hopefully, he can sleep on airplanes.
