First to act, Collaro checked the 8QQ flop. “Mr. X” continued for 50,000, only to be faced with a 150,000 raise from Collaro. After some consideration, “Mr. X” made the call.

Collaro continued on the aggressive path with a 125,000 bet on the Q turn. Again, “Mr. X” called, and the dealer revealed the A on the river. Collaro spent 30 seconds in the tank before checking, and after a similar amount of time, “Mr. X” revealed one of his hole cards, the A, as he checked back.

Collaro shuckled as he revealed his QJ, shocked and in disbelief over the fact that “Mr. X” checked back such a monster hand.

Alessandro Collaro: 2,450,000
“Mr. X”: 1,000,000
